West Virginia (-14) covers at home vs Baylor, BOOM we’re starting early. Early and often, that’s what we do around here. Thats what these quick HITTAS are all about. That’s not an acronym, thats just me FEELIN GOOD! Full disclosure a lot of these are me shooting from the hip, but shooting from the hip has gotten me parlay wins in back 2 back weeks, so i’m riding my gut’s hot streak into these picks.
Baylor is leagues ahead of where they were last year but their best win is vs the increasingly senile Coach Snyder at Kansas State. Yikes!
Virginia Tech (-3) covers at home vs Georgia Tech. I really think VaTech trashed their reputation with, you know, the worst upset loss in possibly NCAA football history, but THAT to the side, they’re a good team. And as much as I hate saying that a team is “due” for something, Lane Stadium is gonna be rockin, the team is going to get back on the right track. This is only their 3rd home game of the year, their last one was a loss to playoff contender Notre Dame. Anyways this is quickly losing the feeling of a “quick hitter” so lets move on.
I really want to pick App State on the road vs Georgia State (+8.5), just to get in on the ride. I’m not loving the pick but I’m also not loving Georgia State lately. App State by 2 touchdowns, proving they belong being ranked with the big boys.
Colorado State (-2) wins big against Wyoming at home. Wyoming sucks. The Tetons are cool though.
I like Boston College at home (+3.5) against Miami. The Canes have been stuck in a little bit of a rut and dont have much confidence in their QB currently.
