Is it the week for the mighty Chiefs to fall?

Nobody wants to bet against the Chiefs.  Hell, they’re a blanket factory right now; all they do is cover.  It seems like the oddsmakers in Vegas are trying to throw us a fat worm though with a 10 point spread.  Sunday afternoon Von Miller, Bradley Chubb and the rest of their vaunted pass rush travel to Kansas City to try and sack Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.  This seems like it could be a tall order, the Broncos have only won two road games since the start of last season.  When these two teams played three weeks ago in Mile High Kansas City was only able to squeak by the Broncos by four points.  With the extra couple days of rest from playing Thursday night the Broncos should come in pretty healthy.  Hopefully Demaryius Thomas is all there with all of the trade rumors floating around.  Emmanuel Sanders is quietly putting up a good year and up and comer Courtland Sutton looks like the real deal.  If Case Keenum can make a few plays and Phillip Lindsay keeps running the ball north and south I can see this game being closer than most will think.

This of course relies on the defense to keep playing up to par.  They are 2nd overall against the run and 2nd in sacks.  They have also done a good job of turning the ball over with 7 INT’s and 7 forced fumbles.  I believe the likes of Mahomes, Kelce, and Tyreek Hill will have enough firepower to edge out the Bronco’s in this game but I have a good feeling that it will be closer than what Vegas is predicting.
